As a PR agency, we play a role in how stories are told and whose voices are heard. That comes with responsibility. We want our campaigns and collaborations to not only be effective, but also contribute to fair representation and broad inclusion. As an employer, we also have an important role to play in this.
For us, this means:

We strive to make space for different perspectives and backgrounds, even though we still have steps to take.

We are working to ensure that everyone has equal opportunities to participate and be heard, within our agency and in the projects we develop.
Inclusion
We want to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and safe, and we recognize that this is an ongoing process.
Justice
We reflect on our choices and change our way of working when it does not contribute to equal opportunities.

Code of Conduct
Honesty, justice, and equality are essential to HPB. For every HPB employee, these are basic rights. Our code of conduct describes how we treat each other at the office, with clients, during team activities, and in our communication.
We treat each other with respect, both colleagues and clients.
We are a team: we grow together, share knowledge, and learn from one another.
We do not share information that has been given in confidence.
We respect each other’s working hours and mainly communicate via Slack, Gmail, phone, and in person.
Work hard, play hard: we enjoy socializing, but do not misuse alcohol or drugs during working hours or at HPB/client events.
Kindness allows everyone to thrive, you have the right to support and attention.
We address each other directly and do not gossip.
We value differences and handle disagreements with respect.
There is no room for discrimination, intimidation, aggression, or inappropriate behavior.
Finally: be aware of your bias. We all have (unconscious) preferences or assumptions. Reflect on them and stay curious about others, this makes us stronger as a team.
Fair compensation
HPB works with a salary structure to ensure fair compensation and to make salary development transparent.
